Terms of Use
Plain terms for a pre-release product. Section 4 is the one that matters most — please read it properly.
These terms are between you and Dhruvr Solutions Private Limited (CIN U62091TS2023PTC177620), incorporated in India on 3 October 2023, with its registered office at Plot No. 259, Ayyappa Society, Khanapet, Kondapur, Serilingampally, K.V. Rangareddy, Telangana 500084, India (“Dhruvr”, “we”, “us”). Dhruvr Solutions Private Limited is the contracting entity for everything described on this site.
Dhruvr Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 16164660, is a group company and is not a party to these terms. If that changes, these terms will be updated first.
1. What these terms cover
They apply to this website and to DhruvrAI and Dhruvr Studio while those are offered in early access. By using any of them you accept these terms. If you are using them for an employer or practice, you confirm you may accept on its behalf.
2. Early access
DhruvrAI and Dhruvr Studio are pre-release. Features may change, break, or be withdrawn. There is no uptime commitment and no service level. Early access is currently provided free of charge, and we may end it, or begin charging with notice, at any time.
3. What we ask of you
- Use the products lawfully, and only for genuine architectural, construction or property work.
- Do not attempt to extract, copy, reverse-engineer or retrain our models, rule data or software.
- Do not upload material you have no right to share, or personal data about others without a lawful basis.
- Do not resell or provide the products to third parties as a service without our written agreement.
- Do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to our systems.
4. Compliance output is information, not certification
This is the most important section of these terms.
DhruvrAI produces design proposals and compliance information intended to support a qualified professional. It is not a sanctioning authority, not a certifying body, and not a substitute for professional judgement, statutory approval, or the advice of a licensed architect, engineer or legal adviser.
- Building rules change, differ between authorities, and are open to interpretation by the sanctioning authority. Our encoding of them may be incomplete or out of date.
- Where our coverage does not extend to your case, we will tell you so — but the absence of a flagged issue does not mean a design complies.
- You remain solely responsible for verifying every figure against the current published rules and the requirements of the relevant authority before you rely on it, submit it, build from it, or give it to a client.
Any drawing, model, figure or verdict produced by our products must be checked by a competent professional before use. We provide the tool; the professional judgement remains yours.
5. Who owns what
Yours stays yours. You keep all rights in the plots, briefs, drawings, models and other material you bring to the products, and in the designs produced from them for your project. We claim no ownership of your work or your clients' work.
Ours stays ours. Dhruvr owns the products, our models, our rule data, our software and all associated intellectual property. Nothing here transfers any of it to you. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the products under these terms.
We may use aggregated, de-identified information about how the products are used to improve them. If you would prefer your project material was not used for improvement, tell us and we will exclude it.
6. No warranty
The products are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that output will be error-free, complete, or accepted by any authority.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dhruvr is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, nor for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data, or the cost of resubmission, redesign, delay or rework, however arising, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, even if we were advised such loss was possible.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the products, in any twelve-month period, is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in that period or ₹10,000.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
8. You cover us for misuse
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your unlawful use of the products, or your reliance on output without the professional verification required by section 4.
9. Third-party software
Autodesk and Revit are registered trademarks of Autodesk, Inc. Meta and Meta Quest are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. Dhruvr is an independent developer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Autodesk, Inc. or Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of their products remains governed by their own terms.
10. Suspension and ending access
You may stop using the products at any time and ask us to delete your data, as described in our Privacy Notice. We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached, where required by law, or when an early-access programme closes. Sections 4 to 8 survive.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the products develop. The date at the top will change, and we will tell early-access users directly about material changes. Continuing to use the products after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, save that either party may seek urgent injunctive relief in any competent court.
These products are offered to businesses and practising professionals rather than to consumers. If you use them from outside India, you are responsible for compliance with your own local law, and nothing here removes any right you hold under mandatory consumer protection law in your country that cannot lawfully be excluded.
